Meet the Heart of the Coalition

At the core of the Fayette County Military Suicide Prevention Coalition (FCMSPC) is a united force of 100% volunteers—people from all walks of life who bring their passion, purpose, and professional expertise to one of the most urgent missions of our time: Preventing Military and Veteran Suicide.

Our Coalition is made up of three vital pillars: the Board of Directorate Members, the Officer Board, and our General Coalition Members —but we do not function separately. We are one Coalition, one family. The General Coalition Members represent the Coalition as a whole, and include our board leaders, officers, and a growing community of dedicated volunteers.

Together, we represent a powerful cross-section of our community—veterans, military families, clinicians, educators, first responders, business owners, students, and civic leaders.

Additionally, we work in close partnership with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Suicide Prevention Department, strengthening our mission with federal insight and resources.

We proudly serve alongside community members, federal and state employees, local organizations, and our partners in the Veterans Affairs Suicide Prevention Department—bringing together grassroots passion with institutional strength.

Board of Directorate Members

Oversight | Guiding Vision | Leadership with Purpose

Our Board of Directors provides the strategic compass for everything we do. These volunteers bring decades of experience in military service, mental health, nonprofit leadership, government, and community advocacy. Their oversight ensures our practices stay ethical, our partnerships stay strong, and our mission remains grounded, transparent, and future-focused.

🔹 100% Volunteer-Powered: Board members serve alongside careers in healthcare, public service, federal agencies, education, and more. 🌟 Why It Matters: They are our vision-keepers—ensuring our long-term impact is rooted in integrity, compassion, and community need.

Officer Board

Action & Accountability | The Engine of the Coalition

The Officer Board carries out the daily operations that keep our Coalition running. From coordinating meetings and document our progress to keeping communication flowing across the Coalition, this team ensures that vision turns into action.

🔹 100% Volunteer-Powered: Officers manage Coalition responsibilities on top of full-time roles across military service, public health, mental health organizations, education, business, and nonprofit sectors.      🌟 Why It Matters: They bring order, structure, and consistency to our mission—turning big ideas into measurable impact.

General Coalition Members

The Heartbeat of FCMSPC | United in Action

Our General Coalition Members are the Coalition. They include everyone who serves under the FCMSPC umbrella—from our board and officer teams to front line volunteers, service providers, advocates, caregivers, veterans, military spouses, students, and more.

🔹 100% Volunteer-Powered: These members come from all sectors—business, healthcare, education, faith communities, local government, and Veteran Affairs. 🌟 Why It Matters: They are the heart and hands of our work—leading outreach efforts, facilitating support programs, raising awareness, and walking alongside those in crisis. They are what make the Coalition a movement.

One Team. One Mission. One Community.

This Coalition is not just an organization—it is a lifeline.
We do this work not for recognition or compensation, but because we believe in our mission and in each other. Every event we host, every boot we decorate, every family we support is fueled by volunteer hours, community love, and an unwavering promise:

No one serves alone. No one heals alone. And no one is forgotten.

We are the Fayette County Military Suicide Prevention Coalition-linked by one cause: to build a connected, compassionate community that prevents military and veteran suicide.
And together—we stand, serve, and save lives.
